Super effective but not in the long haul?

I love the concept of this product. When my neck is killing me this pillow comes to the rescue. I can even fall asleep while using it. However it’s obvious it’s just filled with cotton so over time it will lose its support in the middle (and by over time I mean a number of years, not next week). Perhaps the company should consider switching to memory foam?
However, given the price it’s definitely worth it. I’ve had mine for a year and it’s still working great.

Neck Bone Pillow

I’ve owned 3 of these pillows for about a year now and I love them still. Each one is a different print. I have to say I’m really impressed with how well they hold up and also with the quality of the fabric. I have two issues that usually cause havoc with bedding and these pillows have held up great. The first issue is acne. I put on a benzoyl peroxide product on my face every night. This usually severly discolors bedding but this has not been the case for the neck bone pillows. Maybe a little discolor but nothing drastic. The second issue is that I am allergic to dust mites. Since they don’t make allergy covers for these, I have to wash the entire pillow in hot water frequently and then I throw them in the dryer. They have held up just fine!
Concerning how well they work for the neck… I love them. I put one in the crook on my neck ever night. I still have neck issues - I get kinks in my neck and suffer from headaches - so I don’t think they are a guaranteed cure for anything but they are very comfortable to use.

Great for Car Trips

We use the pillows on car trips. Very comfortable behind the neck. Our grandchildren (2 years old) love to hold them while in the carseat. Well made, good size, hold their shape.

The product is great, cannot use for the application that it was purchased for. My fault, I ordered one too big. Will certainly use at home though.

The neck pillow is okay. If it were a little shorter I’d like it. I suppose it gets the job done on sleepless, uncomfortable nights.

DogBone Pillow

I purchased this product for my stepmom, who has a ruptured disk in her neck. She has used this type of pillow before and had not been able to find them. She LOVES the pillow and is wantin to go ahead and buy a couple of extras!

Based on all positive reviews I purchased 2 DogBones for my husband and I a while ago. We loved it for reading in bed. Now my father in law that is recovering from a surgery and still is on a hospital bed came to love it too. He complained about the pillows that wouldn’t keep his head propped up therefore putting a lot of strain on his neck. That’s when we had the luminous idea to get him one. I’m sure he’ll be using it when he goes back home as well, because he turned out to be the biggest fan of the DogBone pillow! Well made, won’t loose it’s shape.

Quality Control Issues

The shape of this pillow is great, comfortable and convenient. But!!
I ordered two blue ones at the same time. They are made of different fabrics and are very different shades of blue.
One has a zipper for a removable cover, the other one does not.
There is no inner “pillow” case, and the fill works it’s way out of the fabric, so it appears you have been letting the pets use it, even if you have no pets. It’s impossible to pick all the little fibers out of the cover. It constantly looks like it needs cleaning. To wash the cover, you will have to remove the fill and then try to restuff it.
Too bad the makers don’t take that little extra effort to provide a quality product.

These pillows “ARE” perfect. Because I do have neck problems that will make my skull ache if I don’t sleep on the right support, I have slept on all kinds of chiropractic alternatives over the past twenty years. I shopped and read reviews (positive and negative) on these pillows for three days before I ordered three of them. They are very well made and their size is perfect for cradling my head and neck. THANK YOU AMAZON for carrying them.

great little product for my neck problems

I work at home at a computer all day. I’ve have a problem with neck vertabrae. age really … anyway I decided to try and work in a regular highback cushion chair with this type of pillow supporting my neck and my laptop on my lap. It’s been three years now and i can work all day without developin excruciating pain or headaches. I wore out my first dogbone. This little pillow is my savior. If I did not do something different I would have had to have spinal surgery. My problem still exist but i can at least work in relative comfort now.
