Not authentic, not durable

While I agree with other reviewers that these earrings are cute, they are not turquoise in anything but color! After I had worn them for three days the “stone” fell out of one stud, revealing itself to be some kind of ceramic or plastic insert. Below it (filling the space you would assume to be holding the “stone” in place”) were tiny chips, seemingly some kind of wood. I know I got what I paid for, but they should NOT be advertised as turquoise– now I doubt they’re sterling silver!

These were just what I expected. I am partial to small studs and these were perfect! They are very uniquely handcrafted! They are also an excellent choice for a child who has recently had pierced ears. Turquoise is such an earthy, cheerful, and natural choice for jewelry.
